Another month another administrator. So was this one leaving for the old personal reasons?

I am shocked. Anybody know why?
Was the municipal administration really that bad?

Wait until the media gets ahold of this. They will rip these guys into pieces. Remember how much grief the previous council got when they made changes.

Great reporting Dean,

When I read your post, the theme from the Love Boat came into my mind except instead of the word Love, Change took its place. Lets all sing:

Change, exciting and new
Come aboard, we're expecting you
Change, life's sweetest reward
Let it flow, it floats back to you

Change Boat soon will be making another run
The Change Boat promises something for everyone
Set a course for adventure
Your mind on a new romance

And change won't hurt anymore
It's an open smile on a friendly shore
It's change
Welcome aboard
It's change!

.....what's gonna happen next?

Or has Ozzy Osbourne said

I feel unhappy
I feel so sad
I'v lost the best friend
That I ever had
He was my administrator
I loved him so
But it's too late now
I've let him go
I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes
We shared the years
We shared each day
In love together
We found a way
But soon the world
Had its evil way
My heart was blinded
Love went astray
I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes
It took so long
To realize
That I can still hear
His last goodbyes
Now all my days
Are filled with tears
Wish I could go back
And change these years
I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes

With a few slight changes (pun)

Well isn't politics so interesting just recently I have been watching in the papers these guys taking all the credit for the one good thing that happened in the Pass over the last ten years the "walking trails".
Despite the fact that the two previous council did all the hard leg work. The plan, the grants were all put together by those councils in conjunction with Cam and his staff.
Or that was left for this council to do was put the icing on the cake and smile for the camera's.

I am trying to say kudo's to the last two councils, Cam his staff and anybody else that was responsible for creating the idea, for having the political will to move forward with it. Then finding the money to make it happen.

Well done.

Nobody will remember any of this, a few months from now.
When the strategic plan comes out to bring industry here. To revitalize the river run and Crowsnest centre site. To commence the building of our new recreation centre with the indoor swimming pool.
In an amazing show of good fortune all of this plan will be accomplished with no tax increases.

Awesome.

Well Dean I guess these reductions in Admin addresses your concerns about the growth of the municipal workforce earliar this year.

This begs the question who's next? Is there anybody left?
How long can "Interim" last?
Will this become the ulitimate in micro management, where council doesn't just interfere with administration, but becomes administration?

More importantly will they reopen the center?

I'm sure one of our local advertising media will assign an intrepid investigative reporter to phone up the Mayor or Councilors and ask them what the heck is going on.

Have you ever read George Orwells "Animal Farm" some interesting ironies between that book and if you apply the storyline to this council. Hello Pass Herald there is a story waiting for you LOL!!!!!

The media will not do dick all.
What was the first action Decoux and his council took. Before any taskforce or lobbing the heads off administration. Even before rewritting 200 policies and bylaws. They changed the previous councils position on putting the advertising out for bids. That was the first PRIORITY so which paper do you think is going to question their actions?
That move will come back to bite them in the arse.

A very smart move on the council's part don't you think to advertise in both papers. CNP you have been hoodwinked by far greater powers than even the slimy BBoys. Good luck with that recreation centre. Perhaps the BBoys could float CNP a loan. Take care.

Hey Chloe,
check out Colin Becker's (BBOY) house in California!! Wow, is that a 1962 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud parked next to his Porche? Must be worth a fortune!! Too bad Bridgecreek ran out of investor's money and left CNP in a mess....

That's the same guy that Mayor Irwin and Gary Taje continued to support...wow

Wow!! One good thing will come of this; Now we will see for ourselves, who on council (if any of them) have the balls to stand up to the puppet master.

There will be no pride for anyone to say they work for the Mun CNP; Just means you are a yes man.

Anyone know how many tax dollars have been spent pushing people out the door?
(including last council cleaning house. CAO and PWS to name a couple)

More news in todays paper the Boys and Girls club is not operating this fall. Wow I thought this council was all about change. Unfortunatly its beginning to look more and more like negative change.

Any news yet on that ecconomic development officer?

Who in the municipality should be contacting municipal affairs? The whole situation needs to be looked at.

Is there any chance that he left to get married?
