It will be interesting to see where we fit in.I doubt it will be a fair comparison as cities like Calgary do not have houses that are worth less than 200,000.They also have way more high end homes, paying huge taxes, which screws up the averages.Which utilities are included?
I agree with anon, you are trying to compare apples with oranages. We do not fit in with cities but rather with towns. What are local towns paying, would be a fairer and truer comparison. The electorate is not stupid, so please do not try to justify our high taxes by comparing us with cities that provide such things as transportation, in-door swimming pools... so much more return for their tax dollars than what we get here.
