Well here it is the terms of reference for the Mayor's task force.

Mayor and Council will pick the members in the month of January, the committee will start its work in February with the final report coming back to council in May.
Should be an interesting process, can't wait for the recommendations from this group.

Funny it took so long to come up with a 100 word notice, but they expect people to apply and be available on such short notice. Perhaps they have it all arranged and this notice is a mere formality.
I find it a little funny also.This task force was supposed to be struck 2 months ago.Now if you wish to be on it, you can send a letter directly to the Mayor and no one else.Sounds to me like the Mayor will have the opportunity to short list it before presenting it to council.
I still hope for the best and fear the worst.
