Does this mean that councillor Gallant is running a campaign to keep the present CAO here?

I have no idea what this means.

If you click on the link above it takes you to John Prince's site.
Within his post is a link to Councilor Gallant's page.

I wonder why John Prince is interested in these events.

I quote from his blog.

"I can't see myself caring anymore, and even less doing something about anything these days with respect to the CNP."

John Prince is a one trick horse that still really wants to be involved in CNP politics but knows he will never get elected to office here. He pretends to not care what is going on when things aren't going his way. Is it a guilt trip? Is it denial? Is it his way of coping? I have no idea.

Best,
Harold

The following address is where you can find Councilor Saindon's comments on this issue.

http://emilesaindon.wordpress.com/

He as already provided some feed back in his response to taxpayers comments.

Anon @ 12:09:
What, exactly, has Mr. Prince "won"? Sure as heck isn't the mayor's chair or any other office since his failed term on council way back when.

Doesn't the CNP get a contract signed when they hire someone at that kind of a salary? A three year renewable contract would solve the issue we now have!!

Boy have you read Gallant's arrogant response about the secret meetings of council.
Or should we call them "retreats" they will provide to the public information when they are dam ready.

"The results of our retreats will be made public once the information is compiled and written out in a format that makes sense."

To Who?

What an attitude so he is saying if you want to know anything pay your $25 we will provide you a vented docuement that tells you what we feel you should know.

Brian what are you doing with the center, river run, duplication of service etc etc.

Now Dean can you tell me would that cost me $75 or can I apply for all that information on one request.

Maybe I should just do like Saindon suggests be a good quiet taxpayer. Then in three years stand up and be counted!

This attitude really upsets me

Everybody should have a good read, you will get a sense of where our taxes are going.

2% will be a fantasy after next year.
