The riddle is solved, credibilty and affordable Housing

On my previous post I have filled in the gaps on the Credibility and Affordable Housing.
Yes these were the same folks that are going to build Affordable Housing in Blairmore????

One of the things you learn over a number of years as a councilor is that you really have to look at the credibilty of the group in front of you, especially when you are talking about waiving land use bylaws, and walking away from off site levies to the tune of $120,000.

Does anybody really want to see another eyesore behind the Blairmore Legion?

At what point did you start to give the BBoys no points for credibility? Their first appearance before council gave their initial plan a unanimous thumbs up.

Nothing wrong with giving a developer a chance.
I am sure that the investers are not happy with what happened here.
The only concern I have is that thousands of people a day drive by these horrible piles of coal and this is what the Crowsnest Pass is now recognized by.
And the municipality as no money to clean this mess up

Shame shame

There would be funds available for the clean up of the carnage left behind by BC if the politicians were doing their job by ensuring that a Security Deposit was in place. Instead a few on council were diddling with a cheesy video and out selling BC 'units' to investors. The BBoys carried on with their earth moving machines, constant excuses for the delays, ultimately blaming the recession ad nauseum. CNP council sat and watched the mayhem. CNP has now reaped the sorrow. Get out and vote good folks of the CNP. Vote for change, accountability and a plan for the future.
