Perhaps when they are done with us, our leaders will become TURN-AROUND CONSULTANTS. By all accounts, this appears to be a good business. Word is, there are many CHANGE-RESISTANT small communities in Siberia.
The Municipality of Crowsnest Pass is pleased to announce and welcome Albert Headrick as the Municipality’s Director of Protective and Community Services. Albert comes to the Municipality with over 25 years experience hailing from the City of Regina for which he has worked as the Fire Marshal/Assistant Chief and Deputy Chief of Public Safety Planning and Prevention. His distinguished track record for performance and leadership both in municipal operations and fire disciplines will be an asset to the future of our Community as he oversees the strategy and management of the fire and rescue services, enforcement services, safety codes services, emergency planning and community services programming. Albert will commence his duties with the Municipality on April 10, 2012.
Could be some of the councillors don’t realize the size of the hole that has been dug. Like him or not, our previous Mayor had a pretty good saying: “If you want to get out of the hole, the first thing you need to do is to stop digging.”
Councillors should not worry about what people are saying in the Blogs and instead, keep an eye on the $6,000,000 that was collected from the local tax payers toward the municipal budget in 2011. Right now, it appears they blew through at least $600,000 on the hiring of additional administrators, support staff, consultants, and probably additional legal costs from the “restructuring,’ and who knows what, since they do everything in silence.
Not saying that it happened, but if someone threatened a reporter or a newspaper with a lawsuit in order to intimidate them, in any small town in Alberta, or anywhere in Canada for that matter, this would be news all in itself.
You are kidding right. From what I have read and heard, seems like it is the paper doing the intimidating. Keeping in mind they are always the ones trying to cause trouble - and trying to run council. No wonder they are mad, party is over. Crowsnest is very beautiful today with the snow capped mountains. Awesome, beautiful place to live!

Who is it, I currently can not open the municipal website?
Is this to replace the guy who just left?
So does this mean Donna is leaving?

Hypothetically speaking, what does a Bully do when she, or he, feels wronged and challenged? Pass Herald editorial is interesting.

Wow, what did it say in the editorial in the Herald? Can somebody post it please.
