Devon donates land for the ski hill

Here is some good news for the Pass, Devon was and is a very good corporate citizen for the Crowsnest Pass. Sad to see them leaving our community but it was good having them.

Put in a chair, open it in the summer for downhill MTB, expand the trail network. Opportunity is knocking...

An outstanding donation and Devon is an outstanding company. This is in the tradition set by Anderson Petroleum and their donation of the land for the golf course. It took a lot of volunteer effort and community involvement to make the golf course work. Getting the land is a good start.

Wow
Never mind the volunteer work to install the rope tow, then the lights, then t-bar 1, then t-bar 2, then the lodge......

Oh and then the volunteer Work on the luge run.... The ski jump.... And on.

Off topic- Dean, what are your thoughts on council not releasing the details of the sale of the CC? I would of thought that they would have been screaming off the rooftops letting us all know what a great deal they made. Are they under any obligation to inform the citizens of the deal they made?

Off topic again but I have been looking for the Councilor Packages from the Jan 22 meetings. Have you seen anything of them?
