First, the CAO and now the executive secretary... whose next? Councillors probably didn't see this one coming either and couldn't tell you why, I'm betting?
This is almost like a murder/mystery? Where's Inspector Hercule Poirot? Somebody find him! :-) :-(
Did the Mayor and Council have an exit interview with the departing CAO? I bet NOT! And I bet the interim CAO won't have one with the departing Director of HR. I bet the Mayor and Council don't want to see what is wrong with the way they conduct "business"!
Well it will be interesting to see how long it takes to fill these two critically important positions. Keep in mind this interim CAO is not working cheap.
With the Pass's track record with administrators how many professionals do you think will be lining up for a resume filler in the Crowsnest Pass.
Two questions who is next? Which member of their family will they be rejoining? or which tremendous opportunity will come along for them. I have worked at the mine for thirty years over that time have seen many people leave for personnel reasons???? I know you wouldn't let me do it on here Dean but maybe I will start a pool around town.
Anom 3:12PM I do not think the cost of the interim CAO is the important issue. I think the important issue at hand is our community’s sub culture, which is the control a few for the benefit of a few at the expense of the majority. Mayor Decoux has made it abundantly clear he is not prepared to disrupt any of the old culture. He wants change with out acknowledging the way things have been done it the past are wrong. Maybe he can do it but I think if the community is going to come together some of the corrupt dealings of the past have to be denounced.
Anyway, I hear Decoux has a much different tone around Kevin Robins then Tully. Kevin doesn’t appear to be a guy who will take too much of Decoux’s disrespect.
A person can only play the political game in an office for so long! Sounds like there is some bullying going on as well...the stress is just not worth it.
Municipal affairs needs to intervene before they lose anymore staff...2 in a short period of time hmmmmmmmmm!

Let me guess personnel reasons?
. . . and one Tin Soldier rides away. . .
Good Article
If I worked at the Municipality the question going through my head would be who is next?

Dean its not just the administration leaving I hear that the Library board all resigned on Wednesday. Do you know anything about that?
I was told that, this afternoon, do not know if its true. I will find out Monday.
Obi Wan Decoux save us from this mass exodus of our top talent. Maybe we need a new Task Force?????Don`t we have a policy about staff leaving???
